Sunday, March 29: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are literally, no exaggeration, without a doubt, the best cookies I’ve ever made. They are HUGE and stuffed with oats, chocolate chips, butter, and brown sugar — crispy on the outside but so so soft and chewy in the middle. They are absolutely amazing while still warm from the oven — so to ensure I get to enjoy fresh cookies in the future, I froze about eight of the dough balls (raw) in the freezer that I can take out one by one and bake when I need a cookie fix! A helpful tip: these make a great breakfast :)

See recipe by Sally’s Baking Addiction (one of my favorite baking recipe sites) here. I recommend using dark brown sugar (especially if you don’t have molasses to add, which I did not). And I loved the addition of the cinnamon!
