Thursday, May 28: Pasta alla Vodka

I’ve never actually eaten at Jon and Vinny’s, seeing as I live 3,000 miles away, but I’ve heard great things about their vodka sauce — so today I made it at home! Creamy, spicy, delicious. Get their super simple recipe from Bon Appetit!

I followed it pretty closely, except for these small changes: I used ziti instead of fusilli, omitted the basil, used a whole shallot, sliced instead of grated the garlic, and used a full 6 oz can of tomato paste. Comes together super quickly and is just so comforting and yummy!
